MAUSER QUILL SPINDLE
A UNIQUE SELLING POINT
Inverse machining, i.e. moving and positioning the workpiece against fixed spindles, requires an extremely torsion and bending resistant quill. The unique solution is the MAUSER quill spindle.
Proven precision and rigidity
MAUSER’s quill spindle has already proven the effectiveness of its bending strength and torsional rigidity in countless areas of application: I.e. in the PS series centres – our top of the range machining centre – where it ensures that all workpieces are finished to the highest standards. Compared to conventional machines that use 2 guide elements, the 4 guide elements used by MAUSER increase the quill’s bending strength by up to 50 %, and its torsional rigidity even by as much as 70%.
The MAUSER quill spindle – highest precision and quality
- Extremely rigid thanks to large cross section
- High bending strength and torsional rigidity thanks to 4 guide elements
- Additional rigidity for the guides can be provided through clamp carriers (optional)
- A quill that has already proven itself extensively in the PS series machining centres.
