NC-controlled valve seat and valve guide machining

  • Suitable for producing all kinds of chamfers (incl. convex/concave), radii and bends
  • Produces both the intake and exhaust openings using just one special tool
  • Balanced out in all positions
  • Excellent concentricity between valve seat and valve guide
  • Valve seat angle < 20 min.
  • Valve seat runout < 10 μm
  • Valve seat roundness

NC-controlled fine cylinder bore machining

  • No eccentric spindle required, which means that the max. spindle bearing-Ø can be used
  • Highly rigid thanks to well-braced, elastic system
  • Adjustment/lifting range 0.5 mm/radius
  • Size-controlled semi finish and reverse finish boring
  • Roundness < 6 µm
  • Cylinder shape < 8 µm

NC-controlled fine conrod machining

  • Freely-programmable contour machining with a tolerance of 3 – 5 µm
  • No need to change tools – fully process capable
  • 100% post-process measurement with automatic CNC correction
  • 400 million conrods produced with KRAUSE & MAUSER machines 

Fine machining pump housings

  • No need for grinding thanks to the PS INVERS3’s outstanding machining concept
  • Due to the concept employed by the PS INVERS3, there is no longer any need to change tools – which in turn has lead to an increase in the machining precision achieved, which means that there is no longer any need for a grinding machine. This has made our automotive industry customer’s production significantly more cost effective and efficient.
