Fine boring machines
The name traditionally associated with machining in the μ-range is KRAUSECO.
And it is thanks to this specialist knowledge that KRAUSE & MAUSER represent the current μ-range machining benchmark.
NC-controlled valve seat and valve guide machining
- Suitable for producing all kinds of chamfers (incl. convex/concave), radii and bends
- Produces both the intake and exhaust openings using just one special tool
- Balanced out in all positions
- Excellent concentricity between valve seat and valve guide
- Valve seat angle < 20 min.
- Valve seat runout < 10 μm
- Valve seat roundness
NC-controlled fine cylinder bore machining
- No eccentric spindle required, which means that the max. spindle bearing-Ø can be used
- Highly rigid thanks to well-braced, elastic system
- Adjustment/lifting range 0.5 mm/radius
- Size-controlled semi finish and reverse finish boring
- Roundness < 6 µm
- Cylinder shape < 8 µm
NC-controlled fine conrod machining
- Freely-programmable contour machining with a tolerance of 3 – 5 µm
- No need to change tools – fully process capable
- 100% post-process measurement with automatic CNC correction
- 400 million conrods produced with KRAUSE & MAUSER machines
Fine machining pump housings
- No need for grinding thanks to the PS INVERS3’s outstanding machining concept
- Due to the concept employed by the PS INVERS3, there is no longer any need to change tools – which in turn has lead to an increase in the machining precision achieved, which means that there is no longer any need for a grinding machine. This has made our automotive industry customer’s production significantly more cost effective and efficient.
Fine machining valve gate housings
- Up to 30 flange holes machined in one working stroke ~ 4 seconds
- Optimised tool/spindle design, diameter, speed, torque
- Optional tool precision adjustment in the spindle
- Longer tool life
- Unbeatable repeat accuracy when leaving the reamer in the spindle
